The Thread That Brought You Here
There is a Japanese concept that has no direct translation.
En (縁) describes the invisible thread of fate that connects people, the bond that was always meant to be, the encounters that find us not by chance but by something deeper. It is the force behind the meeting that changes everything, the teacher who arrives at exactly the right moment, the community that feels less like something you joined and more like something you returned to.
I have been thinking about En for a long time. It is woven into the way I understand healing, the way I think about the therapeutic relationship, and the way I have watched people find each other inside the training room, recognizing something in one another before they have exchanged more than a few words.
It felt like the right name for what I wanted to build.
A space with intention
En (縁) is a community for anyone who believes that healing is not a destination but a continuous unfolding. Whether you are in the middle of your own healing journey, curious about the deeper dimensions of the mind and soul, or growing into your identity as a practitioner, you belong here.
It lives on Sutra, away from the noise of social media, in a quieter space designed for the kind of conversation that actually matters. Inside you will find monthly live masterclasses, resources, reflections, and the simple but powerful experience of being in the company of others who understand.
We gather around the themes of belonging, becoming, and transformation, explored through the lens of transpersonal hypnotherapy and depth psychology.
The letter
Alongside the community, I write a monthly letter also called En (縁).
It arrives once a month. It carries one teaching, one story from the practice, something worth trying, and something worth reading. It is not a newsletter in the way that word has come to feel, crowded, promotional, optimised for clicks. It is closer to a letter from a colleague who has been thinking about something and wanted to share it with you.
